Senior Manager, Technical Program Management

GitLab is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead a team of Technical Program Managers within their Engineering organization, helping to build out a new R&D PMO function.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a people manager
• Prior experience as an IC TPM, ideally in a position of seniority
• Ability to prioritize and delegate work effectively

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Technical Program Managers
• Manage staffing requirements for the PMO in partnership with leadership
• Create and maintain program management standards and processes
• Develop long-term strategy and vision for the Program Management function
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and remove obstacles
• Establish and track KPIs for programs and team members
• Lead strategic planning
