Senior Contracts Manager, Commercial (EMEA)

Manage a pipeline of commercial agreements, negotiate contract terms, and collaborate with sales and internal teams to support GitLab's revenue motion in the EMEA region.

Requirements

• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts in a software or technology environment
• Knowledge of technology-related agreements
• Ability to balance business goals with legal risk
• Skill in explaining contractual concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders
• Experience working across geographies and time zones
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and contract lifecycle management tools
• Strong interest in AI tools and practical familiarity with their use in legal or commercial workflows
• Fluency in English
• Professional fluency in French is a distinct advantage
• Law degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent practical experience
• Based in the UK or Ireland

Responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of commercial agreements across varying levels of complexity
• Draft and review subscription agreements, AI terms, regulatory annexes, and other commercial documents
• Negotiate contract terms directly with customer counterparts
• Collaborate with sales teams and internal stakeholders
• Assess contractual risk and translate legal issues into practical options
• Support sales enablement by creating practical guidance
• Maintain and improve team playbooks, templates, and process documentation
