Regulatory Legal Counsel – US Monitorships

Binance is hiring a Regulatory Legal Counsel for US Monitorships to coordinate on regulatory litigation matters, manage responses to U.S. government investigations, and advise on AML and sanctions compliance programs.

Requirements

• 5-8 years’ private practice or in-house legal experience in financial services, contentious regulatory matters and/or litigation involving U.S. financial regulators (FinCEN, SEC, CFTC, OFAC)
• Keen interest in and knowledge of U.S. AML and sanctions compliance programs
• Keen interest in and understanding of U.S. financial products (spot trading, margin, futures, options) in crypto
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Excellent project management skills
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Legal Department and management regarding regulatory litigation matters and relationships with U.S. government agencies and regulatory bodies
• Support the company’s response to regulatory investigations, enforcement actions, and compliance reviews relating to AML and sanctions compliance programs
• Provide guidance and counsel to comply with sensitive legal obligations within the U.S.
• Support regulatory filings, investigations, remediation efforts, and enforcement matters
