Terms & Conditions

These terms are an agreement between you and Pathmaester (“we”, “us”) for using pathmaester.com, our Telegram bot and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please don't use the Service.

• You must be at least 16 years old and give accurate details when you sign up.
• Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us straight away if you think it has been misused.
• One person per account. Don't share, sell or transfer your account.

Pathmaester helps you find opportunities, build CVs, write application documents, practise interviews and track applications. We list jobs and scholarships from third parties, including employers, institutions, other websites and community submissions.

We are not an employer, recruiter or admissions office.We don't guarantee that a listing is accurate, still open or genuine, and we don't guarantee you a job, interview, admission or scholarship. Always check details on the official source before applying, and never pay anyone to be considered for a job or scholarship. Report suspicious listings to support@pathmaester.com.

• AI suggestions, scores, documents and interview feedback are generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date.
• You are responsible for reviewing anything AI produces before you use or submit it, and for making sure your CV and applications are truthful.
• Don't use AI features to invent qualifications or experience, or to break the rules of an employer, school or scholarship.
• AI use is limited by your plan's monthly credits and any free daily allowances shown in the app. Unused credits don't roll over.

You own the CVs, documents and other content you add. You give us permission to store, process and display it only so we can provide the Service to you (including sending it to our AI provider when you use an AI feature). We don't claim ownership of your content and we don't sell it.

If you submit an opportunity for the public board, you confirm you are allowed to share it and you let us publish, edit and share it on Pathmaester and our channels.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, fraudulent or scam opportunities, or content that is illegal, hateful or harassing.
• Upload content you don't have the right to use, or other people's personal data without permission.
• Scrape, copy or resell the Service or its listings in bulk, or use bots to access it without our written permission.
• Try to break, overload or get around the Service's security, limits or credit system.
• Use the Service to send spam or to break any law.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

• Pathmaester has a free plan and paid plans. Current features and prices are on the pricing page.
• Prices are shown in US dollars with the naira equivalent. Payments are processed by Paystack and charged in Nigerian naira; your bank may convert the amount and charge its own fees.
• Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel any time in Settings; you keep paid features until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires, or where we choose to refund, for example after a billing error. Contact support@pathmaester.com within 14 days if you think you were charged by mistake.
• We may change prices or plan features. Price changes apply from your next billing period, and we'll tell you before they take effect.

We send emails that are needed to run your account (for example password and payment emails). Reminders and “Jobs picked for me” emails are optional: you can switch them off any time in Settings → Notifications or with the link at the bottom of each email.

You can delete your account any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users or the Service at risk, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it. What happens to your data afterwards is explained in our Privacy Policy.

The Pathmaester name, logo, design, software and resume templates belong to us. You may use them only to use the Service. CVs and documents you make with our templates are yours to use for your own applications.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep it running and accurate but don't promise it will always be available, error-free or suitable for your purpose.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost opportunities, or losses caused by third-party listings, websites or services. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We'd like to resolve any problem with you directly first, so please contact support@pathmaester.com. If we can't, disputes will be handled by the courts of Nigeria, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim there.

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app before they apply. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new terms.
