Sr DataOps Engineer (R14334)

We’re looking for a Senior DataOps Engineer to help operate, scale, and improve the data platforms that support Oportun’s analytics, engineering, and business teams.

Requirements

• Strong experience supporting production data platforms, cloud infrastructure, or DataOps environments
• Hands-on experience administering and supporting Databricks
• Experience supporting Spark, Delta Lake, and Delta Live Tables workloads
• Strong experience with AWS services
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Experience supporting MariaDB/MySQL and MongoDB in production environments

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Databricks workspaces, cluster policies, compute configurations, jobs, workflows, libraries, service principals, permissions, and platform integrations
• Support Unity Catalog
• Monitor and troubleshoot Delta Live Tables, Spark jobs, Delta Lake workloads, and data pipelines
• Maintain secure and reliable integrations between Databricks and AWS services
• Build and maintain monitoring, dashboards, logs, metrics, and alerts
