Cryptography Specialist for AI lab

A task-based role designing expert-level cryptography challenges for AI agents based on real professional work.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on cryptanalysis or applied cryptography
• Experience in the last 3 years naming systems, tools, data and rules used
• Proficiency with SageMath, Python, and Linux command line
• Technical fluency with files, CSV/JSON, APIs or databases
• Available to start around November 2026

Responsibilities

• Design expert-level Terminal-Bench cryptography tasks
• Define task environments for realistic, self-contained, and reproducible challenges
• Write working reference solutions in Python or SageMath
• Build automated checks and tests to verify results
• Calibrate task difficulty for AI agents
• Package tasks with Docker and Git
