Doximity is hiring a Remote Senior Software Engineer, Data to build maintainable data pipelines, architect data solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance healthcare AI and data-driven initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of industry experience as a data engineer or similar role
• Experienced in creating automated testing, applying design patterns, and engineering best practices
• Expert in Python and fluent in SQL with experience developing maintainable data pipelines
• Hands-on experience architecting and designing data pipelines from start to finish
• Experience with asynchronous systems (APIs, streaming, multithreading)
• Product mindset with business impact focus and strong communication skills
• Working knowledge of ML/AI application deployment and monitoring

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, data analysts, and machine learning engineers to develop pipelines and ETL tasks
• Understand product requirements and translate them into actionable project plans
• Establish data architecture processes and practices that can be scheduled, automated, and replicated
• Collaborate with team Data Leadership to identify and push forward meaningful projects across the commercial org
