The Accountant supports the company's accounting operations by maintaining accurate financial records, performing close activities, and preparing financial reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of full accounting experience
- Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero or NetSuite
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley compliance processes
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform account reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Review, classify, and record expenses
- Support internal and external audits
- Monitor accounting activities for compliance with GAAP and SOX
