About
The Client Accounting Division Manager runs their division as a self-contained business unit, owning the P&L, staffing, and aggregate performance of KPIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive professional experience
- Direct people management experience
- Exceptional client relationship management skills
- Strong project management skills
- Strong command of GAAP and cost accounting, including inventory accounting
- CPA or CMA credential (preferred)
- Hands-on ERP and inventory system experience (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Cin7, Fishbowl, or similar) (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Own the business unit's P&L, including revenue, margin, and utilization targets
- Drive aggregate performance across all KPIs assigned to the division
- Manage capacity and workload distribution
- Set clear role expectations and performance goals
- Lead hiring and onboarding for the division
- Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliation, and physical and cycle count processes
- Act as an escalation point for client relationship issues
