A summer research program for undergraduate students to conduct cutting-edge research with world-class faculty and prepare for graduate school.
Requirements
- Minimum 3.5 overall or major GPA
- Enrolled full-time in a degree-granting program at a US institution
- Sophomore, junior, or non-graduating senior
- Must not be graduating before December 2026
- Interest in pursuing a graduate degree at MIT
Responsibilities
- Conduct research with faculty
- Attend weekly seminars
- Prepare an abstract, research paper, and graduate school statement of purpose
- Poster presentation at the end of the program
Eligibility
- U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or non-U.S. citizen with DACA
- International students are eligible if enrolled full-time at a U.S. institution
- Not eligible if completing a bachelor’s degree at institutions outside the U.S. or if an exchange student
