AssemblyAI is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to manage full-cycle hiring for its Research team and senior ML/Engineering roles.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical recruiting experience hiring ML researchers, research engineers, or ML/infrastructure engineers
- Strong outbound sourcing practice and network in the ML/AI research community
- Technical fluency in model training, evaluation, and inference
- Experience closing senior candidates against competing offers
- Comfort with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern AI sourcing tools
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting for Research and senior Engineering roles
- Build outbound pipelines by mapping talent at AI labs, speech/audio teams, and academic groups
- Partner with research and engineering leaders to define profiles and design interview loops
- Conduct technical screens and provide evidence-based recommendations
- Lead complex candidate closes including equity negotiations
