A field-based, per diem Registered Nurse position requiring travel to patients' homes in California to provide skilled nursing care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- At least 1–2 years of recent acute care experience in an institutional setting
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Excellent observation and clinical assessment skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient and family assessments
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments
- Educate patients and caregivers
- Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Supervise and evaluate home health aide services
