Toptal is hiring supply chain practitioners to design expert-level Terminal-Bench tasks for evaluating AI agents based on real operational workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on supply chain or production planning work, or a PhD with active research
- Executed work within the last 3 years using ERP, WMS, and written SOPs or constraints
- Technical fluency in Python or another language and command line
- Experience with files, CSV/JSON, APIs or databases
- Available to start around November 4, 2026
Responsibilities
- Design expert-level Terminal-Bench tasks from real supply chain challenges
- Define files, data exports, and systems each task runs on
- Write a working reference solution for each task solvable in 60 to 75 minutes
- Build automated correctness checks using scripts or tests
- Document written rules, constraints, SOPs, and realistic edge cases
