Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d)

ecosio is seeking a Remote Quality Assurance Engineer to build and maintain back-end QA infrastructure, execute automated and manual testing with JUnit 5, and collaborate with product developers on release stability.

Requirements

• Profound Java knowledge
• Professional experience in the Quality Assurance field
• Solid knowledge of automated and manual testing using JUnit 5
• API testing framework experience
• Good command of written and spoken technical English
• Experience with Kubernetes or GitLab (nice to have)
• Running or completed IT education (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Continuously evolve and improve test infrastructure
• Develop and maintain quality assurance infrastructure for back end (JUnit 5, Spring, Kubernetes)
• Take part in chaos testing and performance testing
• Actively collaborate with developers to build requirements from a testability perspective
• Identify defects, report them, and manage production deployments
• Monitor software releases and regression testing during development
• Develop and execute requirements for test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios
• Support the team with CI/CD (GitLab, Maven, Docker)
