About
The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking a Protection Data Technical Assistant in Borno to support the accurate collection, digitization, validation, and secure management of protection monitoring datasets.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in information management, statistics, computer science, social sciences, or related field
- At least two years of relevant experience in data entry, database administration, or monitoring data management
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power BI, and digital data collection platforms like Kobo/ODK
- Demonstrated accuracy in data entry, cleaning, reconciliation, and document control
- Understanding of protection information management, confidentiality, and data protection protocols
Responsibilities
- Adhere to NRC policies, protection information management standards, and data protection procedures
- Support accurate and timely collection, digitisation, consolidation, and validation of monitoring data
- Maintain updated ITTs, approved protection databases, submission trackers, and dashboard source datasets
- Identify incomplete, inconsistent, or late data and follow up on corrections
- Maintain secure physical and electronic programme records
