About
Lagos Commodities and Futures Exchange is hiring an Infrastructure and Database Administrator to ensure the performance, reliability, security, and maximum availability of its core IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and database management systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
- Minimum of 5–8 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure and/or database administration
- Administration experience in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
- Advanced Linux administration and Windows Server environments
- Proficiency with VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft Azure, or AWS infrastructure setups
- Experience with TCP/IP, VLANs, Firewalls, VPNs, SSL/TLS, and load balancing
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Bash, SQL, Python
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory/IAM and vulnerability management tools

- High availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery (BCP/DR) compliance
- Trading platform and exchange operations support
- Cybersecurity, access control, and regulatory compliance enforcement
