About

Own the technical side of every sales cycle in North America, running technical discovery and proofs of concept for a low-latency time-series database.

Requirements

• Experience running or supporting technical evaluations with enterprise buyers
• Hands-on role experience with databases, streaming or data infrastructure
• Based in New York City, or on the US East Coast
• Strong SQL and solid understanding of database internals
• Precise communicator
• At ease in front of customers

Responsibilities

• Run technical discovery with engineers, architects and quants
• Design and run proofs of concept
• Own deployment and architecture conversations
• Deliver demos and technical deep dives
• Position QuestDB against incumbent databases
• Answer security questionnaires, RFIs and RFPs
• Hand every closed deal over cleanly
• Turn field work into reusable assets
• Feed product gaps back to engineering
• Represent QuestDB at meetups and conferences
