Desicon Engineering Limited is hiring a Desktop Administrator/ICT Officer to ensure the reliable operation of desktop systems and ICT infrastructure, including system configuration, technical support, and user access management.
Requirements
- Strong Desktop Administration skills including configuration, deployment, and maintenance
- Hands-on experience working with Desktop Computers, peripherals, and operating systems in a corporate setting
- Solid Technical Support capabilities including user assistance and incident resolution
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
- System Administration skills related to user management, security updates, backups, and basic network services
- Relevant academic qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are an advantage
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, operating systems, and essential software
- Provide day-to-day technical support, diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
- Perform routine troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- Monitor system performance, support user access and permissions, and maintain asset inventories
- Collaborate with IT team members to implement security and backup standards
