Founding Backend Engineer (Go)

About

Join a client's team in Berlin as a Founding Backend Engineer to build a platform from scratch using Go.

Requirements

• 5+ years of GoLang experience
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS)
• Experience designing RESTful and gRPC APIs
• Experience with messaging systems (SQS, Kafka)
• Experience with AI stack (AWS Bedrock, LangChain, pgvector)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Go
• Design and optimize cloud-based solutions using AWS
• Manage databases (PostgreSQL, Neo4J, Redis, Elasticsearch)
• Build whole platform from scratch
• Monitor, debug, and improve backend performance
