About
The Beijing Government Scholarship is for excellent international students who seek to pursue degrees at Higher Education Institutions in Beijing.
Requirements
- Non-Chinese citizens in good physical and mental health
- Bachelor's applicants: senior secondary education, max 25 years old
- Master's applicants: bachelor's degree, max 35 years old
- Doctoral applicants: master's degree, max 40 years old
- HSK Level 3 or 4 for Chinese-taught programs
- Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL 85 or IELTS 6.5) for English-taught programs
- Academic performance: GPA 3.0-3.6 depending on category
- Two letters of recommendation for master's, doctoral, and research scholars
Eligibility
- Non-Chinese citizens
- Must meet age requirements for specific study levels
- Must meet language proficiency requirements
- Must meet academic performance standards
- Must not concurrently receive other Chinese government scholarships
