Aroundhome is hiring a Senior Data Scientist / ML Ops Engineer in Berlin to lead the end-to-end development, deployment, and optimization of machine learning matching models for homeowners and partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in applied data science with marketplace, ads, ranking, or pricing models in production
• Production-grade Python, advanced SQL, and data tooling like dbt, Airflow, or Spark
• Experience deploying models on cloud ML platforms (SageMaker, Vertex AI, MLflow)
• Solid foundation in experiment design, causal inference, and classical machine learning

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and own partner matching models end to end
• Optimize matching logic to increase match rates and account for regional supply/demand
• Design controlled experiments to prove model impact against baseline logic
• Create datasets and pipelines in collaboration with the Data Engineering team
