M&A Praktikum Intern

Vogel is hiring an M&A Intern for a 3 to 6-month full-time internship in Munich to participate directly in buy-side transactions, financial modeling, due diligence, and negotiation preparation.

Requirements

• Advanced Bachelor's or Master's student in Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related field with Finance/Accounting focus
• Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint for financial modeling
• Ability to analyze financial statements and annual reports
• German language proficiency suitable for negotiations and documents
• Familiarity with using AI tools for research and drafting

Responsibilities

• Build longlists and shortlists of target companies and research market/competitors
• Evaluate teasers and initial documentation to assess potential deals
• Create valuation models using multiples, transaction comps, and DCF/earnings methods
• Structure data rooms and coordinate due diligence Q&A
• Prepare decision documents, pitch decks, term sheets, and LOIs for executive management
