CISPA Summer Research (CSR) Internship Program 2027

About

The CSR internship program offers BSc or MSc students a 2-3 month paid research internship alongside leading researchers in cryptography, cybersecurity, privacy, and machine learning/AI.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a relevant degree program (BSc, BEng, BTech, MSc, MEng, MTech) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent
• At least four completed semesters by internship start
• Must remain enrolled as a student throughout the full internship period
• English proficiency required

Responsibilities

• Join a CISPA research group and participate in research activities
• Investigate open questions and develop new ideas alongside researchers
• Participate in development sessions on scientific writing, presentation, and research ethics
