Automation Engineer

Selex Engineering & Construction Company Limited is hiring an Automation Engineer to lead and support the engineering, design, and implementation of industrial automation and control systems.

Requirements

• B.Eng in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering
• 2–6 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, and HMI / SCADA
• Hands-on expertise with major PLC platforms and industrial communication protocols

Responsibilities

• Support and lead the engineering, design, and implementation of industrial automation and control systems, including PLCs, DCS, and SCADA architectures
• Develop control logic, configure human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and program automation software for field operations and process control
• Work with P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), loop diagrams, and field instrumentation specs
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and field commissioning of automated systems
• Diagnose and resolve issues with industrial control hardware, PLCs, sensors, and communication networks to minimize downtime
• Prepare technical specifications, I/O lists, control narratives, and operational documentation
